A group of people dressed in traditional Bavarian clothing pose together outdoors, each holding a beer stein and smiling at the camera. They are standing and kneeling on a city pavement in front of a brick building.

Oktoberfest 2025

Beer, Food, Music & Bavarian Vibes in King's Cross

Raise a stein, rally your crew and get ready for Oktoberfest 2025 at German Gymnasium. From epic beer steins and Bavarian bites to a live Oompah band every Friday evening with high-energy vibes, this is London’s most Bavarian Oktoberfest bash – right in the heart of King’s Cross.

A table with German food: pretzels, roast meat with gravy, sliced meat with bread, potato salad, soup, and tankards of beer, all on a red and white checked tablecloth.

What to expect

Giant Steins – German beer, chilled and ready

Bavarian Dishes – Roast pork, half chicken, charcuterie boards

Live Oompah Band Fridays – Singalongs and stein cheers from 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Feasting Tables for Groups – Birthdays, work dos, big catch-ups

Dress the Part – Dirndls and lederhosen very welcome! Dress in one and we’ll give you a stein on us

Oktoberfest Activity

Four musicians in white shirts and braces play brass instruments outdoors, including a tuba and trombones, in front of a modern building with large windows and greenery nearby.

OOMPAH FRIDAYS

The band is back. Join us every Friday from 19th September for live Oompah performances, Oktoberfest singalongs and plenty of beer-fuelled cheer, running from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.

Show up in traditional Bavarian gear – lederhosen or dirndl – and we’ll give you a stein on the house (any day)!

A white plate with braised meat in brown sauce, a bread dumpling, and red cabbage sits on a red and white chequered tablecloth, next to dishes of a soft pretzel and a creamy mushroom dish.

OKTOBERFEST SPEZIALITÄTEN

Chef Alex has crafted a menu inspired by classic Bavarian Bierhalls – think rich, hearty dishes made to pair with steins of German beer. From roast pork with dark beer sauce to golden half chickens and bread dumplings with creamy leeks, it’s Oktoberfest food done right.

Three men stand outside a building, smiling and holding large beer tankards. Two wear traditional lederhosen outfits, while the third wears a modern waistcoat and shirt. Greenery and a sign reading

German Beers

This year, we’re teaming up with James Clay and Sons to bring you a beer lineup worthy of Oktoberfest – featuring two legendary German breweries.

Warsteiner – Crisp German Pilsner brewed with spring water from the Arnsberg forest

König Ludwig – Bold, refreshing Hefe-Weizen from the brewery behind the 1516 purity law
